Support begins the moment a family registers. Each family is immediately connected with a dedicated team—including a Local Childcare Consultant (LCC), a Matching Specialist, and a Customer Relations Manager (CRM)—each offering assistance at different stages of the journey.
The Local Childcare Consultant (LCC) is a Cultural Care representative who lives in your community and plays a key role in preparing families to host. Before your au pair arrives, your LCC will visit your home to review program guidelines, answer questions, and share tips for a successful year. They’ll also share more about the community of host families and au pairs living nearby. After your au pair’s arrival, your LCC will visit within the first two weeks, check in monthly with both the family and au pair, host at least two local meet-ups per year, and serve as a trusted resource throughout the program. LCCs may also support host families and au pairs through challenges.
Your Matching Specialist is your go-to resource during the search for your au pair. While much of the matching process happens intuitively through the Cultural Care app, your Matching Specialist can offer personalized recommendations, help narrow down your search, and work with you to find a candidate who truly fits your family’s needs and lifestyle.
Customer Relations Managers (CRMs) and our Account Services team are available to answer questions and provide additional guidance throughout the year. Should urgent issues arise, Cultural Care offers 24/7 emergency assistance to ensure families and au pairs are never without help when they need it most.
