While many would have found this new technology daunting, Lilou embraced it with incredible patience and grace. Watching Lilou and Serena establish this beautiful, new way of communicating has been an incredible experience."

"My husband was walking across a river beside our home with our 5 year old daughter when he slipped and went down in the water while holding her. Karen responded with calm and confidence in the emergency, taking our crying children and helping me load the car and drive to the emergency room. We knew she was really a part of our family by times like this when she has been able to see the needs of the group beyond her own plans and pivot accordingly."
