Meet Adela, Program Manager
"Hi, I’m Adela! I was born and raised in the Czech Republic, and being an au pair in England and the USA was a life-changing experience for me. For the past 8.5 years, I’ve loved working with host families and au pairs in the North Shore area, sharing my knowledge and experience. As a former au pair, I relate to young adults on their journey, and as a working mom of two, I understand the challenges host families face in balancing work and family life. I’ve always had a passion for childcare. I hold a Master’s in Special Education and was a teacher before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I also homeschooled my children for four years. My boys are full of energy, and we stay active with soccer, basketball, baseball, biking, hiking, skiing, and ice skating in the winter."
