Our Values

Cultural Care Au Pair is a division of EF Education, the world’s largest private educational institution, with 40 years of experience in cultural exchange, language learning and educational travel. To date, millions of people have participated in an EF program. Before choosing your au pair organization, be sure it can offer you the same commitments to quality:

Experienced.
One of the first au pair programs.
Cultural Care Au Pair has been providing families with intercultural childcare and educational exchange since the U.S. government launched the program in 1989. We have successfully placed more than 75,000 au pairs in welcoming American homes. We are proud that more than 70 percent of our families choose to host again each year.
Regulated.
Governed by the U.S. Department of State.
Cultural Care Au Pair is officially designated and regulated by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Exchange Visitor Program. Cultural Care Au Pair goes above and beyond the strict guidelines of the U.S. Department of State—ensuring a quality program for every participant.
Rigorous.
Only the most qualified au pairs.
Trained recruiters carefully screen all Cultural Care au pairs. Every au pair must participate in our rigorous screening process, and only 30 percent of all applicants are accepted.
Personalized.
3 ways to match to meet your family’s needs.
Cultural Care Au Pair offers your family three ways to match with au pair candidates: “Search and Select", personalized, exclusive matching and consultative matching. All families enjoy the support of a dedicated Placement Manager who is there to support them until a final decision decision is made.
Local-support.
Just a local phone call away.
The local childcare coordinator (LCC) in your area gets to know your family and is available to offer support and advice. He or she is there to ensure both you and your au pair are having the best exchange year possible.
Affordable.
Quality care at an affordable price.
You’ll receive personalized, live-in care for an average cost of $340 per week, regardless of the number of children you have or their ages. At half the price of a nanny or quality day care establishment, hosting a Cultural Care au pair is one of the most reasonably priced forms of childcare in the U.S.
