Scholarship Opportunities

Cultural Care knows that your education is important to you. That's why we're awarding extension au pairs scholarship money to attend the class of their dreams. This is an amazing opportunity to attend the school you have always dreamed of and gain experience that will last a lifetime. Terms and Conditions

Only au pairs who successfully complete their extension application on or after 04/15/07 with an extension term start date of June 4, 2007 or later are eligible for the E-club and its scholarship. Au pairs who have chosen to extend before this date are not eligible. All applicants must be in good standing to participate. Scholarship amounts may vary and are in addition to the required U.S. Department of State educational stipend from the Host Family. Host families are still responsible for the $250 or $500 educational component (for 6 month or 9/12-,month extensions respectively). A class covered by the scholarship may be used to fulfill the educational component if it is held at an accredited, post-secondary institution. To apply, au pairs must log into their online account at culturalcare.com/login and fill out the scholarship application under the "Extension Program" section. Applications must be completed in full to be considered. Scholarship cannot be redeemed as cash.

Regional Request

Ready to see a new part of the USA in your second year? Wherever you dream of moving, Cultural Care will do our best to get you there. This is also a great opportunity to become part of another American family and gain more valuable childcare experience. If we can't find you a family in your choice region and, for that reason, you don't extend your year; we'll refund your program extension fee!

Terms and Conditions

Only au pairs who successfully complete their extension application on or after 04/15/07 with an extension term start date of June 4, 2007 or later are eligible for the E-club regional request. Au pairs who have chosen to extend before this date are not eligible. Regional requests must be submitted as part of the extension application process to be considered. If we are unable to find a suitable host family in the requested region and the au pair terminates from the program and returns to her or his home country, we will refund the extension fee. Should the au pair decide to stay with a family in another area outside of their regional request; the visa extension fee will not be refunded. Au pairs must be actively matching for 30 days or more to be considered for the regional request refund. Please allow a refund 4-6 weeks to process.

$200 Referral Bonus

Knowing your neighbors has many advantages! Use your improved English language skills and experience with the au pair program, to earn some extra spending money. You are our best advertisers of Cultural Care Au Pair-which is why you will earn $200 each time you refer a new host family who welcomes an au pair into their home! This bonus is double what you first-year au pairs earn for referrals. So, take advantage of twice the fun and twice the money!

To be eligible for this promotion, the referred host family referred must welcome an au pair into their home for at least 1 month before the end of the extension au pair's 2nd year. Referrals must be submitted via the online au pair account to qualify. Please allow 4-6 weeks following the au pair's arrival for payment.

Au pairs who have chosen to extend before this date are not eligible. The au pair must communicate his or her extension status to the staff member at Trek America booking the trip to qualify for the 15% discount.
