Regional Director of Customer Service

Cultural Care Au Pair’s childcare and cultural exchange program has offered families flexible, live-in childcare with a unique international perspective for over 15 years. Cultural Care Au Pair is one of the largest and most experienced au pair organizations in the world, having successfully placed more than 65,000 au pairs in welcoming American homes since 1989. Our program is strictly regulated, and our dedicated staff all over the world work together to ensure each participant has an experience of a lifetime.

As the Regional Director of Customer Service you will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the direction and strategic planning for all aspects of customer care functions in your region. Your key constituents will be host families, au pairs, local childcare coordinators, and staff. With five direct reports (Program Director) based in the field and Cambridge office, you will be tasked to ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction is consistently achieved on a regional level. You will seek ways to develop and expand staff development trainings to support improved customer satisfaction.

Software Engineer

We are looking for a talented .NET software engineer with a broad range of skills in the .NET framework and database development. You will work closely with the Cultural Care IT Team on the development of both internal and external web applications.

The successful candidate:
  • Is proficient in .NET development with a focus on clean, re-usable code.
  • Is proficient in database design and development.
  • Has excellent communication skills, especially in composing technical specifications.
  • Has a true passion for excellence in his/her work, is highly organized, detailed-oriented, thorough, and follows through on commitments.
  • Must be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
  • Must be able to effectively work with other developers (offshore) and IT team (onsite).
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years work experience in .NET (2.0 framework and beyond)
  • Solid understanding of information architecture, source control and SDLC
  • Solid understanding of MS SQL and database integration, including SQL Reporting Services and T-SQL
  • Good understanding of web services

Program Director

In this Program Director role you must be able to think quickly on your feet, multi-task, be comfortable with crisis-management, and provide the team you manage with guidance, professional development, support, and the tools to be able to succeed in their jobs. Adherence to State Department regulations remains your top priority and you will ensure that the area you supervise is always 100% compliant. You will work with and manage a budget and will be required to travel to the area you oversee several times throughout the year. You have a minimum of 3-5 years of management experience, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
